Hyderabad
Conceived as a contemporary vertical estate in the heart of Banjara Hills, The Nexus reimagines multi-generational living through the lens of luxury high-rise residential design. Positioned along the edge of Hyderabad’s KBR National Park, the residence rises as a sculptural landmark that negotiates density, privacy, and landscape within one of the city’s most exclusive urban precincts.
Designed for an extended family spanning multiple generations, the tower organizes independent residences, duplex homes, entertainment levels, wellness spaces, and guest suites into a singular architectural composition. Each floor functions as a private domain while remaining connected through shared recreational and social environments that foster collective living. At its core, the project reinterprets the idea of the traditional family compound as a vertically layered contemporary home.
The architecture derives its identity from a fluid structural language that wraps the tower in sweeping curvilinear balconies, shaded terraces, and panoramic viewing decks. Conceived as an iconic silhouette against the Hyderabad skyline, the building responds directly to the site’s dramatic contours and uninterrupted views towards the dense tree canopy of KBR Park. Deep overhangs, recessed glazing, and extended outdoor decks moderate solar heat gain while dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior living.
Arrival is choreographed through a sequence of layered entry experiences that respond to the site’s changing topography, culminating in a double-height lobby and elevated entertainment levels overlooking the city. Wellness and leisure spaces including a pool, spa, gym, theatre, party lounge, and landscaped terraces transform the residence into a self-contained retreat within the city. Materially restrained yet formally expressive, the project balances monumentality with intimacy, crafting a residence that is simultaneously iconic, immersive, and deeply personal.
