Ghaziabad
Located in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Apex Heights is conceived as a high-rise residential development that integrates global urban living standards with climate-responsive design strategies suited to North India’s composite climate. Positioned within a rapidly urbanizing suburban context of the Delhi NCR region, the project addresses the increasing demand for dense vertical housing while prioritizing livability, environmental performance, and community life.
The design responds directly to the region’s climatic conditions, which are characterized by long periods of high temperatures, significant solar exposure, and seasonal monsoon winds. Rather than relying solely on mechanical systems, the development integrates passive design strategies to create a comfortable microclimate across the site. The planning approach focuses on maximizing green areas, reducing heat gain, and enabling natural ventilation throughout the development.
Two slender residential towers rise above a landscaped podium, allowing the ground plane to function as an active social and ecological layer. By carefully positioning the built mass within the site setbacks, the masterplan encourages air movement while shielding open spaces from harsh summer winds. The towers are designed to capture prevailing monsoon breezes and moderate solar exposure, improving thermal comfort both within the residences and across shared outdoor areas.
The residential units range from spacious three-bedroom to four-bedroom configurations, designed to support contemporary family lifestyles while maintaining generous spatial proportions. Floor-to-floor heights and large openings allow ample daylight and ventilation, enhancing indoor comfort and reducing dependence on artificial lighting.
