The project rethinks the large-format corporate office as a highly connected ecosystem of neighbourhoods that balances focus, collaboration, wellbeing, and social interaction within a dynamic contemporary work environment. Spanning over 384,000 square feet across four floors, the workplace translates Amazon’s global culture into a spatial experience rooted in the context, patterns, and collective urbanism of North India.

The planning framework draws inspiration from the historic Char-Bagh garden typology and its evolution across the NCR region, reinterpreting its strong axial connections, layered thresholds, and intimate social nodes into a contemporary workplace strategy. Rather than functioning as a singular monolithic office floor, the workplace is organized into interconnected neighbourhoods structured around meeting spaces, social hubs, focus zones, and breakout environments that encourage both spontaneous interaction and concentrated work.

At the core of the design is a hospitality-inspired approach to workplace experience. Pantries, cafés, touchdown spaces, and collaborative lounges become active social anchors distributed across the floorplate, while workstations are strategically positioned along the glazed perimeter to maximize daylight, views, and user comfort. Vertical fire compartmentation and carefully calibrated circulation networks enable seamless movement across large floor plates while maintaining operational efficiency and flexibility.

Each floor is further shaped through distinct ecological themes including Ocean, Dunes, Valley, and Mountain, translating natural landscapes into immersive material palettes, textures, and spatial identities. The result is a workplace that moves beyond efficiency-driven planning to create an environment centered around community, adaptability, and human experience within the evolving culture of work.
